I've got a copy you can have for $500. Postage free from the UK. Always ready to go the extra mile to help.

Well, now that I look, I don't know whether the buyers or the sellers are brain-impaired.

"Abe Books" has it for $35.00.    But various Amazon and eBay sellers have it for anything from 60 euros to $960.   Maybe I just don't understand the motorcycle book market .... It's Mick Walker for heavens sake, not Shakespeare ....

No, it's just a misinterpretation - this is a book about Guzzistas looking for mates - a compilation of motorcyclist personals ads.

The seller has 1,225,646 items on ebay.  Many are books.  607 are over $1000.  1300 are over $500.  Nothing rare or significant about any of them, except the goofy prices that nobody is going to pay for an unremarkable book.  Unless it's not a book.  I'm gonna speculate that the listings are coded messages.  Here's a top ten list of what might be up with that:

10)  The seller is listing shipments of contraband and looking for mules.  The titles and prices are placeholders for type, amount, location, etc.

9)  Communicating with a sleeper cell and the book title is the member alias.  The price and description is his coded message.

8)  It's an assassin's clearinghouse coding targets and details.

7)  Illegal sports gambling event and odds

6)  Catalog of stolen business secrets and prices

5)  Scavenger hunt with the item and location coded

4)  CNC programming for perpetual motion device.  Each listing is a separate module.  Batteries not included.

3)  Patriots game plan coded to positon and plays

2)  North Korea's plan to invade Antarctica

1)  Fragments of Beetle's fuel maps.  Be the first on your (big)block to complete the set!

WOW - is the snow keeping you inside and putting your creative mind into warp drive RK?

I think you need to put a snow blower on the front of that trike and get out there before your head explodes  :thumb:

When you pay over $500 for a book on Moto Guzzi singles...it's obvious that you have been sucked deeply into..."The Vortex-Zone!"

Yeah, Leonard painted a lot of stuff.  Like that first portrait of an Eye talian hooker,
The lady hugging an albino mongoose.
A first Saturday  Guzzi breakfast.
And a rider who overslept at a campout.

There are similar asking prices for Walker's book on big twin restoration.  I've never figured out what's going on with these.

Moto Guzzi raced "dustbin" singles. #72 is shown on page 91 of The Complete Book of Moto Guzzi by Ian Falloon. It was a 350.
