I've seen more than one car driving down the interstate on a rim.  When you blow a tire 30 miles from the nearest cactus in west Texas and don't have a spare, what are you gonna do?

Wife and I in Northern Arkansas waiting to turn onto the highway when the small pickup truck passes by pulling a small trailer with a small boat, the trailer had NO tires on the rims at all. We followed this guy for 10 miles at 40 mph (posted speed limit) until he finally pulled off on a side road. Must be some kinda story behind that but I wasn't about to follow him and ask any questions as he looked like he was having a bad day.
