The MG USA website shows both the green and red STelvio bikes as coming with black frames but it looks like the red ones I have seen posted here have the black frame while the green ones have silver frames. Did this change from year to year?

They're (Stelvio's) all black frame for a few years now, I think since the 8 valve was intro'd in 2012. The red has a lot of orange hue to it, so keep that in mind depending on how you feel about orangish-red. Appearance varies by light source.

Just to clarify, ALL Stelvio's are 8 valves. My '09 is a silver frame. (The old stickers said 4V on the body work. That was 4v per side. You had to add the two sides together.)
edit: But I have to ask, what does it matter???

Mostly just curious.
MotoInternational in Seattle has an Amazon Green 2017 and a Volcano Rosso 2016. The Amazon has a green frame and the Rosso has a black one.
Saw a picture of an older orange bike and the guy looked to be running orange pegs. Looked pretty cool.
