Title: Bike Shipper (East Coast)
Post by: SPScottNT on March 01, 2018, 06:50:08 AM
I seem to remember someone here, possibly from Florida, posting a picture of a new to him, delivered motorcycle along with the shipper in his driveway - basically giving a good recommendation for the shipper.  Try as I might, I cannot seem find the post with my searches.  Does this ring any bells?  Related: Can anyone recommend a transporter for moving a bike from Mid Atlantic to the Southeast?  PMs are fine if that is better.  Thanks.

Scott,
I have employed a fellow from down your way by the name of Simon Tack with great success, three times.

I used Simon based on Rob's recommendation and couldn't have been happier.  Simon showed up to my house wearing a Guzzi T-shirt so he gets extra credit for that!  He would fit right in at one of our rallies :)

Haulbikes.com  I used these guys and they did exactly what they said. Motorcycle hauling is all they do in tractor trailer rigs especially designed for motorcycles only. Price is reasonable as well.

Thanks all.  I think it was Simon who I had in mind.

Simon is a great guy, keeps you posted on progress, ETA and all that.  Good for short hops like the one you are inquiring about.  As I have mentioned before and others have I this thread, Federal is very good as well however, for personal treatment from a small outfit, attention to your scehdule and cost, Simon is hard to beat.

Best,
Rob

Might have been my post? J C Motorcycle Shippers subed it to Horseless Carriage from Kentucky.
Good guys, they take all pickups to their warehouse in Ky, then dispatch them a week or so later.
