So the internet tells me Moto Guzzi started on March 15, 1921. 97th birthday coming up.
How will you celebrate?
Hum, that's a Thursday. Might skip work and ride all day.

I'm going to ride the Norge to get spaghetti and Italian margaritas!
-
I was looking at Lake Como area cuisine ... seems they eat a lot of polenta. Not a fan. But a lot of dishes are fresh water (lake) fish ... that could work.
I'm thinking a 97 mile ride on my Racer followed by a Northern Italian dinner. Maybe some tirmisu.
-
Thursday's our "ride to the movie" night. Maybe we'll abandon the kids for an extra hour and go out for a nice Italian dinner. :thumb:

Dunno what I'm doing for 2018, but 2021 is locked in.
Dinner on Lake Como at Camping Spaggia !
Perhaps a few (too many) wines and a burnout (with pics) out front of the factory gates on the Norge... :copcar: :thumb:

Well, I got my V7 Stone at 15 March, 2013.

The Pope's got bigger problems than Guzzi, here in Oz... :embarrassed:

Caesar: "The ides of March are come."
Soothsayer: "Aye, Caesar, but not gone."
I guess I'll enjoy the Feast of Anna Perenna, celebrate Guzzi's birth, and lament the death of Julius Caesar. Same as every March 15, so that it is possible that the circle of the year be happily completed!

Going to celebrate with hoisting a few Peroni's and making an italian sausage and bell pepper dish for dinner.
If the weather and the new hip co-operates will take a ride around the local back roads for a few hours.

Trivia for the day:
My Latin teacher 'splained us that the Ides of the month (15th), Nones (7th, but only in some months and therefore unreliable) and the Kalends (1st) were paydays for the Roman army. Time was measured BACKWARDS from these days, since the soldiers were always in debt and X number of days away from payday. Kalends morphed into "calendar".
