Pulled the lasertecs off the V7C at about 9500 miles. Put on some Conti go's, feels soooo much better. Does not follow grooves, cracks in pavement, or twitch almost none on bridge grating. Every now and then the rear used to 'slip' sideways, did not matter if rough or smooth. Have no clue why, so far the conti's have not done this. Overall the handling feels better and more confidence inspiring. Will have to wait a while to see what the mileage is going to be, may try Michelin's next or put another set Conti's.

I mounted Michelin PR4s and was prepared to be dazzled...instead the bike wandered constantly and I began misjudging lean angles or so I thought...next tire change I went to Conti Road Attacks and got my sweet-handling Norge back! Can't say what it was but I never felt totally comfortable with the Michelins...

Conti are making some good hoops at the moment. I'd heard good things about the TKC 70 series so I tried a set on my Stelvio and am very impressed. So much so I've decided to go bonkers and stick a set of Sport Attacks on the Green Horror! I know they'll wear out in a week but it should be a fun week! :D

The rear Conti Go! wore out in 3k miles on my old (low powered, light-weight) MZ Silver Star 500. Not very good value for the $$ IMO.

Rode the 1st 100ish miles on a new set of ContiGo! Skins yesterday on the LMIII. We’ll see how they last.

**Warning.. tire thread** I'm a fan of Continental.. but..the Conti Go isn't in the same league as the attacks. It's made to a price, but still a better tire than Lazertecs.

I have Attacks on the Mighty Scura, a notorious tire eater, and have a little over 3000 miles on them now. The rear is just beginning to flat spot on our chip and seal. (mostly chip) On good roads with actual curves in them, I'm pretty sure they would go 6000.
The Sport Attack 3s I just put on the MZ are the best feeling tires I've ever used. I have no idea how long they will last, though.

I'm willing to trade a little mileage for the confidence the Contis give me...I was actually happy when the Michelins wore out and had to be replaced...
