I want to change my fuel pump filter. I am having trouble getting the hoses off either end. I removed the clips but the tubes are fitted very tightly on either end. Is there a tick to getting them off the filter? Or do I just need to pull harder. I am worried about breaking or puncturing something. See pics.

When you pull on the hose it tightens on the spigot slightly. Try a screwdriver on the hose end to lever it. I have a plars with forked ends that spreads them when I squeeze them just for that

Figured it out. Trick is to turn the filter. Duh...
