Stopped in at wayne guzzi to check on my v85—-well they said sometime in 2019... I guess I will be looking at the re Himalayan...😢
-
The Himalayan is looking like a good, low-cost, more agile alternative to more pudgy and expensive ADV bikes...
-
Not with something like 24HP. I'll wait for the V85

I like the Himalayan as well. Sat on these two Suzuki's, (Dr200 and Van Van 200,) at lunchtime last Friday.
4-stroke, 200cc single, fuel-injected, light, reliable, and cost effective. :thumb: :1:

Why are you disapointed? Its been reported for sometime that the V85's would not be here until 2019?
Honestly its Guzzi's they probably don't even know when or if they will be here. I won't believe the V85 exists until there are physical examples sitting on dealer showroom floors. Then if I like the bike I'll wait 1 year to see what defects surface. If I'm not chased away by those the initial feeding frenzy will be over and V85 sales will stagnant and prices will drop like a stone.

I certainly understand this logic, but it should be attached to every thread griping about dealers who give up selling the brand or those that don't know how to service the bikes. The V85 looks like it will be a great bike and if it's priced right with minor troubles, I hope they sell a lot of them without a drop like a rock pricing.
Let me repeat again, I understand the logic of waiting but sometimes you just have to support the company, especially if the product they deliver is without fault or at best the standard complaints for almost all new bikes,i.e.. seat, etc.

Wayne as in Wayne NJ? Give Jim Hamlin a call and see where he is at on the 850 waiting list. I was there just the other day.
