It may assist some.
I've been looking for a key blank for my 2001 Jackal locking gas cap. As far as I know it's all stock.
A Yugo x153 blank will work.

Likely because the Yugo was based on an old Fiat design .

Who knew?
Anyway, thought it may assist some as I have quite a time finding a blank that would work. I only had one key for the cap, and I've lived with myself long enough to know better than to only have one!

I'm assuming this cap is not unique to the 2001 bike but possibly several model years?

This thread should be instructive..

Also.. from when I was going through the MZ debacle.. from Charlie
Take a photo of the key and send it to these guys: Keys4Classic.com . They may not only have the blank, but will be able to cut it for you. Check this out: http://keys4classics.com/html/Ducati_90s.html

If he still makes them, swbrenton has a keyless replacement that works much better.

I used the same key blank for my Jackal as the Calvin in the thread that was linked by Chuck.

Jim, that is not the stock cap. I bought the replacement that is all metal from Harper's. The original cap was a pain in the ass with ethanol. I'll look to see if I have the spare. I don't recall if it came with 1 or 2 keys.

I see. THX. If you have one-great. I had two made just in case.
We ride soon, eh? Snow is almost gone here-finally!
