Title: make do oil filter wrench 8v norge

About to do a longish ride, ordered new EFI oil filter for Norge. Arrived, all well except new ones are 14 fluted ones.  So out to shed,found 75mm stormwater pipe,heated up on the BBQ a bit and Moulded it to the new filter and old 8 flute removal tool. Looks like it will work to get filter snugged up ok. Maybe new EFI filters are now 14 flutes?

I’m taking that you mean UFI? It depends a where you get them from. I buy mine from Europe and they come in Guzzi boxes with Guzzi part#’s on them and they’re 8 flute but the UFI box ones you can get, (Identical filter, same UFI number.) can come in 8 and 14 flute configuration. I have cap wrenches for both and never give it much thought. Either wrench is cheap as chips, buy both.

Thanks Pete, meant UFI doh! When are you heading o/s? Huzo and I leaving for Darwin May 6th,3-4 weeks away.
