Title: Housing in Denver question NGC
Post by: fotoguzzi on April 17, 2018, 03:08:36 PM
My Kid (25) is going to Denver for a few days of job interviews next week, any hints on a not too expensive motel/hotel that is safe?

#2, if he moves there do you have a lead on apartment preferably with short term or no lease. the jobs are in downtown Denver I think. software sales.

Thanks.

Aloft downtown is well located, fairly priced and hip.  Depends on where his interviews are, factoring in rush hour traffic.

There are also hotels at the airport (Aloft, Sheraton)...

When I lived and worked in Denver for 8 months in 2013, I lived in the "Metropolitan" apartments in Lone Tree right at the south end of the Light Rail Line.   Stepped out of my door, walk 75 yards to the train station, and in a few minutes you're anywhere in Denver for not a lot of money.

They would do short-term leases ... pretty nice apartments, covered parking, about $1000/month.   Nothing's cheap in Denver ...!
