Hey All
For those of you who may recall - I had Total Hip Replacement - Right side - surgery last October.
Well, yesterday was my first ride since I parked the CalVin last September. I had no idea what to expect.
Happily I can report that both the bike and the hip performed well! I experienced no pain and no 'pressure' around the new hip.
And no difficulties putting the Guzzi off & on the centrestand.
I was only out for 60 or 70 km but it was a glorious day! I cant seem to get the snit eatinggrin off my face!
Cheers!

Geoff,
Excellent news, good for you. I have an up coming procedure and do not dare ask how long I can expect to OOC, at least as for as the motorcycle operation and handling goes.
This is most encouraging because my procedure is not going to be nearly as invasive as a hip replacement.
Happy for ya Bub. Be careful out there.
Best,
Rob

That's good to hear!! Hopefully there are many s(miles) ahead for the Goose AND the hip...
Oh, don't forget to use the correct oil for the hip:
