Title: Unique bike finish and slavage title
Post by: normzone on May 22, 2018, 10:09:17 AM
That's probably even worse than a salvage title ...

I guess I'm the only one wondering how you wash it?

Wash it in Woolite, at least it may hide the scratches that must be underneath.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

There's some bad history under the awful cosmetics. How do you un-see something like that?  R3~

Bah. That's 16 years of good times. Never rip on another man's bike... it's like insulting his wife. He rides her, he loves her.

I bet that was a total smile machine for him. Beats the hell out of paying for new plastics, and it's fun. Bikes are *supposed* to be fun, right?

It's ok to do that to a bike, just don't expect to sell it afterwards.

Reminds me of a couple flocked cars I've seen in the past...  you know, back in the 70's...

It isn't going to be as fast as other 900s.
Flocking doesn't help streamlining.  But it is probably nice to pet it.

I velvet flocked a triumph frame back in the day.  I would not do that again.
