Why engine builders quit making small-displacement V8s is beyond me...when I think of what cool cars could have benefitted from the 283 Chevy/289 Ford/etc.!!! :violent1:

My 'small' BMW 268 cubic inch (4.4L) puts out a measly 456 hp, if only they would build a full size V8 and get some real hp it might do better than the 3.8 seconds it takes to get to 60 then it might catch the Hellcat's 3.6 seconds to 60, mind you it took 6.2 Litres / 707 hp to achieve that but the Hellcat weighs in at 4493 lbs and the Beemer is 4372. Its not always about cubic inches but in my comparison the extra displacement tips the scales in favour of the Dodge for all out performance.
