Searched the on line dealers an looking for some part numbers couldn't find what I was looking for, so here go's.
Can anyone provide the part numbers for a complete seal kit for a Convert transmission ? That would be for the Hyd. side and Gearbox side. Seals and "O" Rings.
Or would each part need to be ordered seperatly?
My existing parts book doesn't show anything for the complete seal / "O" ring kit.
Thanks in advance.

I thought MG Cycle had a kit like that but maybe not. I always had to order it all separate. I may have a list like that in my parts book from doing them 15yrs ago, I'll check. You don't like being a parts guy? Just part of the job w/you run a 1 man shop. I find real paper books work better than PDF copies.

I don't mind being a parts guy however when a convert comes through once every 15 years I don't keep those parts around I have plenty of other parts for big block Guzzis but anyway I appreciate any help you can offer thank you very much

Found the book, no notes. I never kept Vert parts in stock although they came through regularly. I just put in an order, always within a few days had it.
I can make you a list if you want, pretty easily.

Tom, looking at MG's website, seals are listed separately.

When GF was there, MI had a paper template they made with the order of installation, the imprint of each o-ring, and the part itself taped over the imprint. That's as close to a "kit" as I've seen. I doubt the template still exists. They dumped a lot of good ideas on account of they made too much sense.

Tried to put it in order front to back. If you have a parts book, page is drawing number, and location = #

When I flipped open my note pad to make the list another piece of page fell out, a list of everything (seals, orings, lock washers) to do a 5 speed. Made it for Wavedog last year. I just started the notepad thing in 07, I used to just put them in the manuals and parts books.

Moto international has the kit for all seals needed. Nice quality, everything fits and a fair price.

Paul Linn made a list (that one posted may be his). Did you check the yahoo MGConvert group? It would be there under their files or photos section.

Owner called Harper's, we had it all in stock and it's on the way.

Thanks Curtis.
I'll probably need the same for my Convert to have on hand when the need arises.
