Your fine, I don't think you need to question how many motorcycles you own until you get past twenty, that's my storey anyways.
It's sort of "human nature". I've found that a man will never admit to:I only have 4 motorcycles now ( just sold 4 last fall). But I do have 7 snowmobiles, 2 GTOs, and 2 trucks....
1) Having been asleep in a chair
2) Being "rich"
3) Having too many motorcycles
"Too many" for another guy is about 1.5 times as many as I've got!

Meh,
Talk to Jay (Jas67)
I think he does finally have fewer than 30 bikes.... And only about 15-16 are registered.
But the latest one he added was a Blue V7III Special.
A year ago this month I had none, now I have six. I'm ill in the best way. :thumb:0-6.0 in 12 months. That's pretty fast right there!:bike-037: :bike-037: :bike-037: :bike-037: :bike-037: :bike-037:
Somehow, I knew when I saw the OP's post that you'd cite me as an example.
You're a bit high in your estimate, only 11 are registered, though 13 running and riding. The 305 Honda doesn't yet have a title, so, it isn't registered. The 749 is a track-only bike.
That plus 9 project bikes = a total of 22.
I'm hoping to finish a 2-3 of the project bikes this next winter and sell in the spring. That'll get me under 20.
The last few years, I've been on the reduction plan. If I buy one, one or more needs to be sold.
Last year, I bought four, and sold three, so, actually, no reduction, but, I tried . But, this year, sold NINE, and only bought one.
I have no plans to buy any more this year, or next year, unless my M.A.D.D. (Motorcycle A.D.D.) friend sells the Thrurton R (with "track racer" fairing) that he just bought. I once bought a motorcycle from him that he only had for 10 weeks.
The tough thing is, if I buy the Thruxton R would be which one or ones to let go.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahah ahaha

too many motorcycles ?
No such thing !
We started out many years ago, wrenching dead motorcycles back to life........Mostly because that's all we could afford. And it's still my favorite hobby. As the years went on, the quantity and quality of our motorcycles have substantially improved. Here's a gaggle - in the basement

Don't forget - in addition to insurance - you're gonna need SECURITY !

Nice assortment. My guard cats keep the rodents away.
Lucky for me, my garage is small and will accommodate only one motorcycle. I sat on a V9 today. It fit me like a glove. The pegs were 3-4 forward of where my Nevadas are, which is perfect. So a new V9 would get me a better seating position and ABS/TC, so is that worth $150 a month for the next three years?I thought the V9 Bobber looked REAL good in person. And it fits me like s glove also....

I havent yet seen a Stornello with a series 3 engine. Did they not produce one?

I've wasted a lot of time in my life "justifying" what should have been easily characterized as "the heart wants what it wants".
Don't over think it.
