I just bought a used 2007 Califonia Vintage and the speedo is out of wack. This is a US motocycle with the speedo in miles with klh in small numbers. When I am traveling with traffic in a 90K (55mph) area the speedo reads 80 mph or about 160klh. Is there some way of calibrating the speedo? I thing maybe some someone may have tried to set it to show klh with the mph numbers. Is that even possible?
Been a BMW air head for maney years this is my first Guzzi, love it!

Any chance that the rear drive gears were changed?
What is the tach reading at 55mph actual?

My 07 CalVin speed O was 5 mph off, tested by GPS. It also quit at 7k, chezzy ITT brand which many had failed early in life. There is no economical fix so I just got a good quality bicycle GPS which works great.

yep those ITI speedos are really rubbish!!
The previous generation of Calis had Veglia instruments which might be better quality........
