Okay everyone, here's my issue. I just rode my Stelvio from California to Alaska. Along the way, I hit a hear and did some damage to the bike. I am needing a quote for my insurance, butwe have no guzzi dealer up here, and noone wants to touch it up here.
I emailed a few dealers random and no replies. It probably sounds like a scam I guess.
So, do any of you work in guzzi dealers, have a good relationship with your service department, or know anyone that would be willing to draw up a quote for me?? Obviously I would order the replacement parts from that shop.
Thanks everyone

can't your insurance company do that?

In my experience insurance companies don't know the first things about Motorcycles. I would figure out what parts you need and call Harpers Moto Guzzi.
I had a claim in 2004 and Harpers was invaluable.

An Alaskan here
Is it bigger than a Missouri there ?

When my T-3 was damaged by a cell phone driver, the driver had Am. Family Insurance which had no data base for Moto Guzzi. They asked me to get price quotes on parts needed. Harpers was very helpful.

I hit a Bear.... Not a hear.... My bad. Spell checker got me.
I called my insurance and they asked for a quote. I havent told them my since issues getting a quote. Maybe they will change their request. When we did a vandalism claim on my wifes Volvo recently, the adjuster said it would be $500 to fix the hood.... Took it to a body shop and they ended up having to replace it. That got handled, but I figured with them asking about a quote, id just do it.
I emailed Harper's but got no reply. I may call them tomorrow and see if they can help

Why not call Motto International in Seattle, they must be familiar in shipping parts to Alaska
Send them some photos of the dammage

I get many many quote requests, and a hundred emails a day. Sorry but I haven't seen one in the past week.
Not to say I would not take the time to look things up for you, but here is the link to the parts lookup. If it's a long list, it will be quicker if you can make a list of the needed numbers and email then directly to curtis@harpermoto.com. Follow up with a phone call to make sure I got it. 816.697.3411 Then I'll get current pricing and availability for you and get things rolling.
Hope the crash was not catastrophic to you in bodily injury form.

Curtis, thanks for the reply. I have a list and pics already accumulated at home. I will email it tonight. I want you to know, I wasnt trying to blow you guys out online here. I have ordered lots of stuff from you and have an order in transit as we speak. I figured you were all busy.
The bike and I did great considering. I attribute keeping it upright to good riding habits and experience on that route and a little luck.
I can post the play by play if you all want

A bear hide seat cover would be a unique trip souvenir.

Omg I thought it was a hare you hit - hope the poor bear survived the encounter as well, best of luck with the repairs.
