So I had serviced this little rig a year or so back, had some fuel line issues and a few wiring problems. It came up for sale recently and I just could not resist offering her a good home.
It is a bit of a mongrel in that it started out life as V65 SP but has gone through more than a few changes. The right side tool box is from a V7 Sport, the left is from an 850-T, beautiful V7 Sport-like tank.
Runs great but still in need of directionals and a side stand of all things. I'll fix it.

Coolio! Piggyback shocks also not oem Don't think it started as an 81 sp. Those didn't show for couple more years.

Ahh, didn't know that. I will need to polish up on small block details. And I had listed this as an '81, that is what was on the title however, this is an '82.
I dont mind putting it up on the centerstand all the time but I need to find a side stand for it.
Thanks,
Rob

Looks like the PHBH's were swapped in favor of PHF's. I did that on our V65, sure runs good.

I did a bunch of work (top-end rebuild after one side grenaded, electrical work, replaced the rear fender, etc.) on this one back in March. It was the most fun to ride of any small-block I've worked on so far.

I like the stock side cover look better than the cobbled together tool boxes.
