Can anyone tell me what the little light is below the fuel bowser symbol on the face of the fuel gauge ?
The very bottom one..
I don't think I've ever seen it come on.

I don't have that model, but could it flash when the fuel is low?
if it were mine, I'd take an ice pick to it. hate those stupid things

Nah mate, that'll be the one beside the fuel bowser symbol.
Since I got Beetle's map wedged in the ECU, I hardly ever put fuel in...

Looks to be a resettable rev limit light, adjustable through the programming mode. Possibly not set on yours if you've never seen it.

You might consider switching it on. It's only a flashing light, but a would be thief mightn't know this and be deterred.
