Post by: Ncdan on August 03, 2018, 10:02:17 PM
I came by s set of new Victory Touring bike pipes and don't own a Victory. Anyone wants them for free, just pay the shipping and any material I need to ship them are welcome to them.

I have a Victory Cross Country Tour. What pipes do you have? OEM stage 1, oem stage 2, aftermarket or modified originals? and in what condition? Do they have chrome or black covers and/or tips or do you have just the slip on mufflers themselves?

Sorry Mark I can't answer any of your questions as I have never owned one. I just have these pipes that a buddy took off and replaced with louder ones. He was going to throw them away and I took them.

I'll keep your information Mark, I'm waiting to see if the first person to contact me wants them. Be advised the shipping will be high due to size and weight. Also I will have to figure out what to ship them in securely.

Dan,  Due to the likely high shipping cost, I am going to pass.  Thanks,

Tim

I've shipped a set of Victory touring mufflers back and forth with an exhaust guy in LA from TN twice. It typically cost $35 to $45 with USPS. Though I have no idea where you're located, I'm in the Chattanooga, TN area. A few pictures of what you have will let me know if I can use them or not. I'm fine either way as I already have new stock mufflers plus a new set of Cobra Tri Ovals in the garage already. Plus the modified originals that are on my Cross Country Tour right now.

The modified originals are Ragin Cajun Medium Low & Throaty. They sound wonderful without being 'loud'. I'm certain the Ragin Cajun guy (well known in Victory circles) could rebuild stock Guzzi pipes in a similar fashion. Total cost for the Medium Low & Throaty slip ons was about $225 without shipping. He removes the end cap, removes/rebuilds what's inside then welds the end cap back on. Stock looking pipes with aftermarket sound, more Hp and a higher/flatter Torque curve. I was shocked when I looked at cost of  aftermarket Guzzi 1400 slip on mufflers. Yikes!

I'm in NC. These things are heavy ugly critters. They are bound to have had some kind of covers on them which I don't have.

 Yup, Those look bone stock.
I have a 2012 CCT.  I was going to sell my V&H pipes to  2 interested parties but the shipping cost was $90 Crazy expensive to ship a heavy box ground these days. I love the sound of these and the Tri-Ovals (quieter)
If you were local I would like to have a stock pair to tinker with..  :^)
