I have tried many a map on EVs, Stones, etc and very hard to get over 42 mpg. Got tired of it so like my EV powered loop, I put on 36mm pumpers on the Ti.
MG Cycle sells all you need, manifolds, cables, starter switch, etc. Runs perfect and if it's anything like the EV motor, I will be seeing over 50mpg constantly.
Main problem is the later Tontis have an extra piece of frame that bolts to the top of the trans and I had to cut off the left side so the air filter would fit.

Hey John, thats a cool conversion! Does it run any better/faster with the carbs?
I am currently trying to sort a running issue with the fuel injection /TPS on my 03 aluminum, so this is very interesting to me. Looking forward to your reports coming up.

always wanted to try that! what are you using for an ignition?
-
Hard to tell on the performance. Runs good and crisp straight out of the box. I had to sync the cables and play with the idles screws but runs smooth as silk.
I used the stock ignition and ECU, just unplugged all the injection stuff. New switch is obvious and easy to wire in.
See the T3 floor boards, tank and seat?

Well :embarrassed:  I was under the impression that it couldn't be done or I would have done it years ago.
