Title: Not guzzi related again, although..
Post by: Brand X on September 08, 2018, 12:13:37 PM
I loved the hard bags on my 2002 Stone.. Just was handy to have on all the time.. So in that vain...ended up doing this to my new to me 2009 Monster.. I find the layout pretty versatile, and maybe better in some ways then the stone layout.. Back Ducati tail bag will only be left on when needed.. Off for a few days with this setup (no tail bag..) Givi tanklock, and Nelson Riggs ST40 bags.I can get a ton of stuff in the 4 liter tank back. Even my jump battery..($230.00  total upgrade cost) Fits nice on the Monster..First the Guzzi setup..

Looks good, nice Duc.

I'm a bag whore, and a sucker for white bikes, and a sucker for red frames on Italian bikes..... All good!

It is silver.

Changed the oil to some quality 15/50/belts changed, and more miles put on the bike. Over the mountain pass to Portland netted 63 mpg! Pipes/Ducati racing ecu is dialed in for this unit!!

I have owned Honda/Rotax/Moto Guzzi/Harley big twins, and this one is amazing in fuel use. Mostly pulled 58 as a best before this last run. This time 128.5  mile/2.019 gals  used (Non- alcohol)

Yes, good bags rock.  I finally got a set on my M900 Monster.  Liking that a lot.
