Title: sunrise, sunset [nothing but photos]

These shots are not so common since I’m probably riding later into the night than I intended, and wouldn’t normally want to stop, get off, and stand in the middle of the road (or tracks) just for a photograph.

That's on the way to the Terlingua Ranch Lodge (probably more famous for the Carroll Shelby racing team) which is sixteen miles off the highway with the last three miles not paved (something I didn't know beforehand).

Beautiful shots of the transition period the French call "crepuscule":  ie, dusk going to dark; dawn going to day.  Thanks for posting!

Were you able to get any photos of the famed sunsets on the West Coast when you have been here Daniel, or has it always been raining as it usually does?  Especially if the Ozzies are having bush fires or dust storms, they can be amazing.

I'm afraid that this is the best I can do.  This shot was taken from the top of that really tall tower in Auckland.

Edit: that would be the Sky Tower (328 meters to the spire and 222 meters to the top floor)
