1985 V65 SP in California, sure looks to be complete and decent, a lot of bike for $2500

The #3 son and I were planning a run down to Hollywood with cash this weekend.

Then I to pay for property tax, $ 800 to transfer a 12 year old jeep and 12 year old (240,000 mile) F150, eye exam, glasses, hunt club for this next season, gun range dues......

I know we'll have to rebuild the brakes/master cylinder, new cables, all new fluids, pull and check the bevel box, new shocks / springs in back and new springs/fork oil/seals in front, battery.

We just got through doing this and much more on our V50-III.

I decided not to go.  I really need to ride a V7 just to see how they are.

I still have a project bike in my Lemans that I'm getting tired of.  I guess I'm just getting lazy in my old age.

I had one for a couple of years, a very nice bike.

Looks very nice and well-equipped.  This bike even has a (very hard to find) luggage rack for the early series smallblocks.  Appears to be a good value-for-money.
