It's unclear what the implications of this may or may not be for the division of Piaggio that owns Guzzi/Aprilia/Vespa etc.

Piaggio Aerospace has nothing to do with Piaggio Motor Vehicles.
The aerospace company is owned by Mubadala Development Company, based in Abu Dhabi.
