Title: Guzzi Trike Project?
Post by: canuck750 on December 03, 2018, 09:47:03 PM
This Ercole front end keeps dropping in price as the months go buy, was $4500, down to $1500 and still no takers

I think it could make a very nice trike with the right rear wheels and some stylish body work, graft a Harley Servicar rear end onto it, paint it Guzzi red with some hand painted pin stripes .....

Rodekyll where are you??

You would do it justice Charlie.

I would probably graft a quad rear end with independent suspension, build a boat tail body enclosure, spoked rear wheels and deep valanced rear fenders. I would buy it but shipping and duty all the way to Western Canada would be prohibitive.

I googled 'Moto Guzzi Trike' and low and behold … this came up, there are no new ideas, only variations

Wow, those look like a lot of fun to ride. Great relaxed engine heartbeat to go with it.

That would make a sweet grid-road cruiser. Something laid back to bomb over to visit family, or just explore on a lazy afternoon.

If I weren't saving all of my $$ to buy a replacement for my Eurovan, I'd be buying that and then figuring out how the heck to get it back to MD.

Chop the Eurovan mate it to the Ercole, replacement fulfilled and name it Eurocole  :azn:
