Hey, thanks guys. :thumb:

Went on a longer ride today to check out the new second hand gearbox.  All good.  Called in to see my mate who bought a 2007 Breva.  When I would call out to visit I would toss him the keys and let him take it for a squirt while I drank coffee with his wife.  He always said it just felt so right so when one came up earlier this year he grabbed it.

Called in and bought some stuff ready for a celebration on Saturday with friends and family.  One of our liquor outlets had the whisky I drink on a super special if you got two bottles.  What could I do??? (Guzzi content :wink:)

Still feel the same as I did yesterday so turning 70 ain't too bad. :grin:

Thanks John. Yeah, all good.  Seeming to be kept fairly busy with a bit of gardening, helping son out at his work and generally keeping the Eagle Flying.

Hope your business is still trucking along well.

Happy belated birthday Muzz! :boozing:

My friend turned 64 the same day so I took a balloon and card to where she works and surprised her. The card though plays very lame, annoying music, (think elevator music), and does not stop until it finally dies or you destroy the card. :grin:

Your card story reminds me of when we called in to my wife's parent's grave.  Not to far away one of those endless cards was singing "happy birthday".  A bit surreal in the middle of a cemetery. :grin:

Actually, the eighth decade, but who’s counting. I’ll hit that plus one in a week, it’s just another day, Happy BD indeed....

Thanks Mark.  Yeah, the head feels good.  Sometimes the body feels 70 though. :cry:

Just put a much thicker sheepskin on the bike as my left cheek was beginning to ache after sitting down for a while.  Finally got to a surgeon who said that I had torn the bottom half of the hamstring off the pelvis.  Couldn't believe I had no idea when I did it. <shrug>  We hope it will grow back, the RH side when when I ripped it off completely.  Bike is now nice and comfy. :thumb:  All good.
