As a tribute to Uncle Calvin (Luap's Uncle), he is gone but not forgotten. This BMW was his, and his brother Paul, Luap's dad acquired it and I got it from him. :boozing:

Good to see that bike again and glad it's in someones hands I know. I'll give you a little history on it.
Circa 1999ish, that bike was on consignment at Bentonville BMW, in Bentonville Arkansas. My Uncle Calvin and I stopped in to look at it. The next week he wired the money to the dealership and had me go pick it up. So, my wife took me down there and I rode the bike home. It was wintertime, so it sat in my garage for a few weeks until my uncle came up to get it.
He owned it for many years and then switched back to Guzzi's. My dad has always been a BMW fan, so he bought it. He also owned it for many years until Fubar got it. So, that bike has been ridden by all 3 of us McKeevers :-).
Glad you enjoy it. If you ever want to get rid of it, let me know. I hope you keep it forever though. Happy New Year.
