I'm hoping to come and explore Saskatchewan as one of my bucket list items in the future and was wondering if anyone here lives there? Thanks.
-
Well there is one guy, but he's hard to catch

Yeah I live here, land of living skies they call it, low population in many areas, big province with a million miles of road, like some people say, our pot hole system has roads in it! :boozing: DonG

LOL... Any of you Guzzi owners get together etc?

There are not that many Guzzi owners here that I am aware of, I know of at least 3 more besides my self, like I say it is a big province with a sparse population, if you want to see Guzzis come over to my place I have a 30+ unit collection, have lost count really..... DonG

Working on it, going to be Guinness World Record Book entry  DonG

30 Guzzis and only 90 riding days in Saskatchewan? That's a tight schedule.

Yeah it is a Bugger! I do live at two different locations so the fleet is split up a bit..... DonG

well, 90 days is a bit of an exaggeration. Last season started late and ended early... and even that was mid may to late September (consistently)… was able to ride into Mid-October, but intermittently.
But, it's not a long season by any stretch of the imagination, either way.

My motorcycle hobby is in the mechanics end of it, short riding season but a long off season to tinker. Like a buddy used to say, our location is perfect for English motorcycles, ride them for 4 months and fix them for 8 ! :smiley:DonG

I'm glad to see this thread has some spirited banter... :-) Thanks for your replies. BK

Where the hell you finding them all? I keep my ear to the ground on vintage bikes all the time, and I rarely, if ever find vintage Guzzis for sale. Or are YOU the reason I can't find them?
I kid, but honestly... collectors make it tough on the rest of us. A guy out in Alberta used to call himself the "CB750 Guy" (maybe he still does)… no matter how quick I called or went to see a bike... he'd be there ahead of me. Barn full of them. Makes it tough when you're on the hunt.

Ya snooze ya loose! I used to have a great collection of English bikes at one time, predominantly Royal Enfield, I guess I had them all too, stuck with Guzzi after the divorce cleaned out the antique collection. DonG
