Love it!!  Ive always loved his style..  Hes kinda like that old grandfather everyone loved...  His style is so kind and comforting..

I friend of mine turned me onto Fred circa 1970, sophomore in H.S. and that was the first tune I heard by him. Been a fan ever since. Here is another tasty version of that song with Seasick Steve and Tom Jones:

Thanks John!  I haven't listened to Fred McDowell in a few years.  Wish I had the talent or determination to play slide guitar.  I've been a fan of Fred since the Stones "Sticky Fingers' album. Somewhere in my scattered collection I have 3 versions of "You Got To Move".  Stones, Blind Boys of Alabama, and of course Fred.
