Title: Photo shoppers ?
Post by: Huzo on January 22, 2019, 11:55:25 AM: Can our resident photo shopper/s, get a large side on shot of the yellow and white V 85 and replace the yellow bits with Italian green and the black stripes on the tank in red ?
Would be good to see the rims polished or silver anodised also.

This is the one that caught my eye...so happy the photo shop version came to live!

As for the green one, I like the third but maybe with "V" and "TT" as red?

Hadn't seen that yet. I don't think it was on the color chart that was initially released. Or I missed it.

DOUBLE EDIT - OHHHH THAT's RIGHT, that's what prompted the photoshop - the swatch was there but no photo. Duh, MAN I'm getting old.... totally forgot that!

That’s the “Blue”. My dealer said the only options for the first order is the two special tri-colors, or the grey.

I'm buggered if I know why they didn't do one like this.
That's how mine's gunna' end up. The green will be a shade darker like on the Hailwood Ducati's etc..
Love the silver wheels, if they don't polish up, I'll do a set like the Norge with Behr or Excell... :thumb:

I rang old mate at the dealers earlier today and asked if he knew what colours would be in the first shipment.
He said he didn’t know, but when he found out he would tell me and I would get first go since I’d paid a deposit. I sorta’ reckon I could live with the red/white one, but Beetles scheme is the Duck’s....
Trouble is I’ll be in Italy when they land quite possibly so I’ll have to check them out there and buy mine “blind”.
A first world problem I guess...

Might have to do with the shade of red on the covers vs the shade of the red on the seat.

If they matched or if the seat was black it would look different (better).

I am dismantling the wheels on my V85 tomorrow and polishing the rims.
The hubs, bevelbox, swingarm, all the underside centrestand components, front caliper mounting brackets, will be done in the same silver as the footpeg mounts.
The crash bar will be nickel plated like the pannier mounting frames.
My request is..
Can our resident photo shopper/s drag up an image of a Rosso Vulcano V85 with those changes ? I am convinced that it will be worth doing, but would obviously like to see an image.
