Post by: jbell on January 27, 2019, 07:16:45 PM: I "met" Nicky two years ago at COTA. I was working the Paddock Loft Suites and making sure people had the correct wristband for access. When it gets crazy you just start looking for wristbands and not the people. Me, "I'm sorry sir, you don't have a wristband." Him, "I don't need a wristband". I look up straight into the smiling face of Nicky Hayden. "Holy sh*t", go right in sir. Nice guy.

Post by: BrotherJim on January 28, 2019, 01:05:49 PM: Very cool. Thanks for posting. Had the pleasure of meeting Nicky at the Indy Mile in 2009 prior to the MotoGP. Such an ambassador for the sport. It was the night Kenny Roberts rode the Yamaha TZ750 flat track racer from '75 again. Glorious!
