Visited the show today, and spent most of my time nosing around the Royal Enfield booth. Lots of 500cc single Bullets on display, and several of the new 650cc twins, that are supposed to be available in the spring.
I thought the twins were quite nice. They are elementary bikes. Priced right. If ever a potential market was going to break loose with some $$ for a new entry level bike, this might be it.
Looks like basic valve adjustment will be simple. There are four bolts that hold down the rocker cover. The cutaway engine showed that valve actuation is via forked rocker arms and lock nut and screw.
The throttle body assembly appeared to me one cast piece containing both TBs.
Here's a few pics from the show.

I was there yesterday, I agree with your comments about the Enfields. I was also surprised by the amount of traffic at their location. The bikes were well displayed and nicely priced.

Those 650's look like a home run.

I really like those RE twins, I'll check them when the local dealer gets them in.

I'm hoping they put a twin into the Himilayan before too long.
That may be my next bike. Nice bike, nice price, and a dealer not too far away.
