Title: ...it's Kansas Day.
Post by: Daniel Kalal on January 29, 2019, 10:19:02 AM
It's Kansas Day, so display your flag. Of course, no matter all the compromises (and killings) to allow the state to eventually come in as a free-state, the civil war would break out in a few months.  Ad astra per aspera.

Filling up in Santhemarahalli, Karnataka.  The fire buckets contain either water or sand.

I can remember going to the state's 100th celebration at the little town of Walton. I wasn't quite six years old yet.

No; that's from an earlier trip. If you check the file location property of any of my posted photos, you'll see the date.  I have all my trip photos from forty years stored online, which is how I have ready-access to them.
