Title: V7 stone tail light repair
Post by: paulbr on February 19, 2019, 08:01:53 PM
I've just discovered my left hand rear indicator has pulled out of the tail light body.

Wondering if it's fixable with washers or a metal plate to reinforce the broken plastic on the tail light housing or if I need to source a new tail light?

Yes.   Fab up some washers.   And JB Weld is your friend.

Don’t ask me how I know

Thanks! I was pretty sure it must have happened to someone. My guess is someone has brushed past it a bit too heavily. I would have expected the rack to protect it a bit but obviously not...

Mine broke too. I replaced them with Posh billet ones from Motociclo.

Tail light and indicators? Sounds interesting. Was half thinking about getting some mbars and bar ends from them when I discovered my blinker problem. Just bought a Ducati Supersport and finding the lower bars much more comfortable. Though also means more time to fix the tail light with washers and JBWeld ;)

I should read posts more closely. I thought the indicator stem snapped which is what happened to mine. They're cheap rubbish. I think the Posh come in black as well which would suit the Stone.
