Eaglecross Mk3 V7

Hey does any body know anything about the Eaglecross build, specially for the V7, now that I have a Griso was thinking of doing something similiar with my V7, that is one of the best looking and I imagine pretty good performing builds/mods that I have seen. Doesn't look crazy complicated either.

At a quick glance the big stuff to do is a front end swap and longer shocks. The angle of the rear swing arm makes me nervous.

Its a gorgeous build for sure. I guess the basics-
Swopping out the front forks for something beefier and longer, optional wavy front rotors, they do like nice.
New headlight and front cowl-optional for sure. I do like the original round light.
Extra front lights.
Crash Bars-not to hard to make for someone with metal working skills.
Sump guard.
Exhaust
and rear shock- 

Thats exactly what I was thinking, the angle of the rear drive shaft seems extreme- did find some other web sites showing some long distance riding/trips done on that but would love to know if anyone has any experience changing the angle that much.

lol, at 6'2" I do dark my poor V7, so the extra seat height would be sweet!

I'd start looking for a dirtbike with a bad motor. KTM's will have WP suspension which would be a very nice set up.

That is a fantastic idea, pick up a few bits for peanuts! Considering the cost of new forks!

Stock up on rear drives, U-joint and drive shafts. If you keep the angle of the rear of your bike anywhere near what that builder did your going to need some or all of the parts sooner than later.


Adding 1/4" longer shocks is about all the V7 will tolerate. Adding shocks that are inches longer is asking for problems.
