The Roper Sloppage Plate

I had one of Mr. Roper's fine sloppage plates on my Tenni oh, those many years ago, to keep the oil in the pan from sloshing away from the pickup tube during more, uh, spirited riding.  Is this mod something that would be a good idea on a 2016 Stelvio, or has the factory developed better oil control since the Tenni's day?  I don't ride like that much anymore, but I don't want to starve the poor thing out from starting off on a steep hill, either.

Unnecessary. The Stelvio sump is both deeper and better designed.

On another note, Pete came up with a very nice vent set up for the rear drive, which I put on my Stelvio. I know some rigged things up themselves, but Pete's is a very nice clean install and IMHO is, or was, well worth the price.

The standard vent can pull in some water if it is hot and you run through a rain storm or some such that causes a quick cool down. I don't know if Guzzi changed newer models or not. Mine is an '09.

Anyway, Pete deserves a lot of credit taking the time to identify areas that need addressed on our Guzzi's. Hard to say how much money we may have saved because of his innovations. (Preventing water ingress, oil starvation.)
