More cush for the tush

I suffer from BAS - bony ass syndrome. In addition to my pants not staying put I get butt sore pretty fast and no stock saddle known to man or woman is comfortable after a couple hours. Having had Corbin saddles on previous bikes I know I like the shape but find them way too firm. I've never tried the Guzzi gel/comfort seat - are they any good? My Air Hawk pad works really well for highway stuff but I don't care for the way it squirms around when I shift my weight for corners.

Will probably modify my current seat by dishing it slightly and adding an inch of foam on top of that. Any other options or suggestions before I get the big bread knife out?

I own an AirHawk and swear by it. Re the shifting during cornering: you wouldn't have too much air in yours, would you? It is something you have to experiment with. Start with a puff of air and work up from there.

Since I want to retain my beautiful seat cover on the Carbon, I may send the seat to Spencer next winter.

Let some air out of the airhawk till your butt just slightly bottoms on the saddle, more support and less squish is good.

I too own an Airhawk and it has definitely extended my saddle time, and more comfortably. Too much air and it wont work correctly.
