My Cal 1100 had that issue. I bent up a piece of heavy coathanger wire, taped some cotton cloth to it dampened with some alcohol, and cleaned the inside of the lens through the headlight bulb hole. Was a bit tricky, but cleaned up nicely.
Necessity is the mother of invention!

Not an LED but the Wipac Quadoptic Light unit fits straight in - should be a S6011 for a right hand dip (right side driving)
It transformed the light on my old Cali to a proper "see where you're going light"!
It doesnt look "period" but if you're thinking of LEDs I guess that wont worry you too much

It isn't difficult to separate the reflector from the lense. Remove the metal clips between the chrome trim ring and reflector with a pair of pliers, noting how they fit in there and the position of the lense. Once you've done that, separate the parts and clean away! Replace in reverse order.

Go through the back hole. Clean it off from the using chopsticks or forceps or long needle nose pliers and rubbing alcohol. The heat from the bulb and it's reaction to ozone creates the haze.
