not sure if I posted my latest tank bag and mount for my 8v SB
but it gave me idea for next one
Is another v7 racer plastic one with chrome gone west
one rooskin stretched and wet moulded, still drying
First job of next 8v SB but might even buy a leftover v9 as donor running gear etc and just chuck it on that till motor is done
As title cheaper than paint, probably lighter too

Looks kinda like insulation on a rocket fuel tank.  Will it help keep the fuel cool at all?

yep me too
but this is neither stitched nor fastened with straps
made like shoes, using tank as last
weather here fading fast will be another day or two till bone dry but is sounding good today, tight as a drum over filler hole
will cut and mount cap soon
veg tanned deer skin would do this too, just need good tanner with thicknesser and a bit of love in the moulding
