EV lives!!
« on: May 03, 2019, 08:01:14 AM »
Not really wanting to pull the injectors to clean them ,I thought what the heck and dumped in a couple of bottles of STP injector cleaner and a gallon on gas, every now and then i would try to start it but nothing, so I tried a little started fluid and it coughed then I tried again and it started ran rough then smooth out.Idles a little high. So after 8 years of being off the road having the gearbox bearings replaced, new clutch, new rear main seal, putting everything back together,(still have a few things) finding out the computer was dead, getting a lot a help from the forum and good friends, Ron's EV lives again. I like to think Ron is some where with a big smile. He had a love hate relationship with this bike.

Excellent. It's always nice to get something going that has been waiting for some time. :thumb:

Thanks again Chuck. So the Areo engine was the one used in the drones? I didn't even change the chip!

Guzzi being Guzzi, I was betting it was off the shelf stock.  The Aero cam *was* different, but it was the same as the V65 with .020" more lift using timing sensors on the front.. so *assumed* they didn't change anything in the computer.
I still have all the (new) sensors, throttle bodies, injectors, etc.

I believe if you look closely at the Aero Lario, you'll see it has an 'N' number...
