ALL, remember that if you reply to your private messages through your email system and NOT through the PM system, the server emails them to me because it don't know what else to do with them. You have to reply to your PM's in the PM system.

There's at least 4 deals going on right now through the PM system from what I can tell. Bags, racks, wheels and seats. Some of you may be missing messages from buyers/sellers and thinking they are ignoring you when in fact you're not using the system correctly. I received 18 PM's this morning alone.

I'm going to sticky this a while. My emails are clogged with PM replies. I just deleted over 1,000 that I accumulated since March 1st.

Hey Luap,   I'm curious if you've just noticed a recent increase and there might be some burp or glitchy change that has taken place.

     I never reply from email, only directly in a pm, but when I just checked my pm's, quite a few recent ones seem to be missing.

     I don't use the pm system a lot, but I vaguely recall recently, that when I was sending a message or replying? even though I had a members profile page up to send the pm, it seemed like the system wanted me to re-select the recipient in the "To" field,; my memory is horrible, but I didn't recall doing that in the past?

    Maybe there has been a little change like that requiring a double entry and if it isn't done, it ends up going to you?

    I'm definitely not a computer geek, just thinking out loud, in case it helps lessen your work load keeping this great place going.

If you "reply" from within the PM system, you shouldn't have to put in the 'to' field. Replying from within a profile page is a different story.

Hey Luap,    Tks for the reply; I thought some two way pm conversations had disappeared, but it MAY have just been me forgetting to click on keeping a copy of the sent message.

    I may have misspoke, as I said I don't use the pm system that often, I'll pay more attention to it the next time I do.
