New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I have recently been considering the purchase of a 2011 Stelvio that most likely requires that 'roller cam' update kit. The price for the bike is approximately $6,000 Canadian.Does anyone know what roller kit this 2011 Stelvio will need, and a supplier plus the costs? I am simply an average backyard mechanic, and hopefully this repair is not beyond my ability.
Lannis, it's far more likely to be a 'B' kit bike. You need to confirm by pulling a rocker cover for a looksee. B Kit is the least expensive. Should cost you about $750 from TLM plus postage. B kit, along with A kit, are the easiest to install. The heads don't need to come off but on a small tank model getting the tank and bodywork off is a PITA.Lannis's bike was I believe a C kit machine which required the heads to come off. A 2011 takes less time.My video doesn't show the entire process but it does cover the removal of the LH cambox. The screwdriver trick is depressing the LH camchain tensioner plunger. Not difficult but care must be taken because if you damage it it's an engine out job to replace the blade.Pete
