Emgo on a v7iii? Or do you guys have another recommendation on relatively CHEAP slip ons???  I'm tired of most scooters I'm seeing sounding louder and better than me
(Running OEM atm)

I have a set of dunstall replicas on the 2015 V7. they were bought from dennis kirk about 15 years ago and I think that's who made them. surprisingly good but using their size reducers make them pop quite a bit on decell. Knock your stock exhaust gaskets out or buy some new ones and install them. great bang for the buck and they sound almost as good as the mistralls on the V7III.

Know of anything additional need for the V7III? Because I've read a few things that people have said like you cant just do a simple muffler swap on the III

I have been running the Emego Dunstall replicas for years on my T-3. They hold up well, to my taste the sound level is about right and I have had many positive comments concerning the sound. What's not to like?

A beetle map and Lafranconi Competizione mufflers made my V7 stone a hooligan bike.
The bike sings now, before it was quiet in a tractor kind of way.

The Bassa you homies bought for me at Cedar Vale has Emgo mufflers with an H pipe crossover , it is really a bit too loud . The Staintunes on the Jackal with the stock crossover is about right , throaty enough to sound muscular W/O being obnoxious . Once the Bassa comes home the Jackal setup will be transferred to her .

Interestingly , last Fall while changing the transmission oil on the Jackal , I started her up to move her W/O the mufflers installed , just the headers and stock crossover , it wasn't really much louder than with the mufflers installed , guessing the pre-muffler in the crossover is doing most of the work. What say you Pete or Steve ?
