Hacking a 1400 ..progress

Getting a DMC side car installed on my 1400 California touring .. excited  should be ready by end of June.....

Just curious. Does a sidecar destroy the fuel mileage of the bike it’s attached to?

Depends on what you consider "destroy", it definitely reduces it.  Mine cut by about 8-10 mpg.
