BREVA 750 REAR BRAKE CALIPER REMOVAL - B
« on: August 22, 2019, 08:56:52 PM »
Ok, the rear pads on my BB are getting a little on the thin side so looking at changing the pads.  Noticed that the Brembo calipers are mounted to the backing plate with bolts however their appears to be nuts on the back side  of the plate. Other bikes that I've had the bolt just threads into the backing plate with no nut.  To remove the caliper should I attempt to loosen the nut first or just hold it and loosen the mounting bolt?
Thanks, Tim

I first thought nuts & bolts were not standard, but that what the Breva spare parts manual shows - screws, washers & a self locking nut. You've got to get the caliper off, so just undo them.
