Stelvio NTX maintenance

Hi all !!
I know I am beating a dead horse but due to lack of searching skills , I am asking again.

For someone willing to buy a used 2013/2015 Stelvio,
what is the recommended maintenance/check to do asap ?
( whatever Luigi forgot to do 😊 )
Checking electrical connection that usually came loose,
Greasing bearings here and there...
Any tips , advice highly appreciate.

Isn't that in the range of flat tappet 4 valve heads, I would find that out before I parted with any cash

If its a two valve
Grease the rear suspension and drive train, about an 8 hour job if you haven't done it before.

Things to do?

1.) As a post 2012 bike it will be rollerised ex-factory so you can forget that, all good.

2.) Unless it's been done the shock linkage and swingarm bearings will need greasing or, if the bike has had a hard life, replacing.

3.) A lot of joy can be added by tuning it properly and remapping it. Either Mark, (Beetle) or John, (Xltra.) can help you in this regard if you are willing to learn how to use Guzzidiag. It's not rocket science! I can do it!

4.) Ride the piss out of it.

Grease suspension linkage and splines
Add fuses to the fog lights (this is a must! see link above)
Euro turn signal upgrade- this will rid yourself of the terrible turn signal/mirror combo used in the states only (link)
Upgrade horn if you want to be heard (link)
I have one rear rack left that you can attached a SW Motech top case (same as side cases- link)
Double bit locks for the side cases- the single bit locks are not great (link)
Keep a spare lower crossover exhaust gasket when yours goes south (link)
Spark plug cap replacement (link)
Add heated grips to the factory connectors if needed (link)

Look up the procedures for valve check, fluid change (link), and throttle body balance. Those are about all the things that you can easily do at home.
