Are the stock 98 EV mirrors anti vibration? I’ve got some aftermarket mirrors that I’m thinking of replacing. What do the stock ones go for? Thoughts or opinions welcome thanks G

I broke a stocker on my '99 Bassa, and I think I found one for around sixty USD on Ebay.
As for "anti-vibration", not in my opinion. If anything they are probably more pro-vibration.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

I found some black plastic Piaggio mirrors on eBay for about $20/pair last year. Same thread size, and they do not vibrate at all. I'll try to find the listing, if you're not stuck on chrome replacements.

These bike have standard mirror mounts.
I'd do an internet search or go your local bike mechanic and check the catalogs. There are many aftermarket mirrors that are cheaper and likely better suited.
I picked up some going through a catalog, got the measurements and there are much better selections and much cheaper than anything from Piaggio.

^^^^ This. I found some aftermarket mirrors in the local Honda shop that look nice and were cheap (Guzzi content). Then I broke one so am just running one on the left side.
When the Italian motorcycle rider was asked why he didn't have any mirrors on his bike he replied, "What'sa behinda you izza not important..."

Hi Gusable,
At the suggestion of someone on this forum, I purchased these EMGO mirrors to replace the terrible non-stock mirrors on my V11.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/emg-20-35200/overview/
Along with vibration reducing dampers for a KLR650 (
http://www.klr650.com/MrVibIso.htm
) the mirrors are 100% better. Not quite as clear as some, but very usable. I didn't try the mirrors without the dampers, but they might be just fine that way too.
Cheers!
