Lambda regulation
« on: September 10, 2019, 09:24:26 AM »
Hello,

I have a 2015 Stelvio 8V NTX with now 57000km's. After riding for almost 45000 km's with the lambda's off (open loop map) I now tried a map I recieved from a friend. This is a closed loop map. Of course the lambda's were quite dirty. I cleaned them first by spraying them with brake cleaner and the by putting the tips in fuel for a few hours. In Guzzidiag in "lambda regulation" I see for both lambda's "2"when I throttle up. I thought that it should indicate "1" when the lambda is working, or am I wrong? The lambda's are working, but are they working correctly?
Also the bike is running much leaner than with the lambda's off (which is normal) but I get the impression it is too lean. I get popping sounds in the exhaust when closing the throttle. Also around 2000 - 2500rpm there is sometimes some hesitation. When riding behind a tractor at 35 km/h this hesitation is at its worst.

Anyone an idea?
